    simply wonderful find, and all the better because it seems so complete.

    can you tell me the name of the seventh medal which appears to be a

    veteran's commemorative of some sort? i have a 2 place medal bar

    (EK 2/this ribbon without the medal). thanks for your help.

    Hi Albert,

    Yes, it could have been a pillow used for a funeral... but I don't have any proof of that. Unfortunately I don't have the name of this soldier... and there's no way to tell, I am afraid.

    I noticed that the description of this medal bar on Thies' Online auction is not anymore there. Has anyone saved the text of this article? There was a second bar depicted on top of the 10 place medal bar... I really need to know if in this description there was something more about being sold as part of a single group or separately.

    I am very thankful if anyone could help me.
