Spectrum shift problems aren't usually found with WW2 photo developing, so possibly this is simply a case of dark exposure.

The bomber radio operator Feldwebel's collar tabs and piping here certainly don't look like the flight yellow we would expect, though it's his ribbon bar to notice here.
