    This is a TRULY strange one, from the incredible archives of Robert Noss. :beer:

    This Oberf?hnrich is wearing from his buttonhole--where normally 25mm individual ribbons for the same awards were displayed-- a single piece of woven 15mm-each RIBBON BAR ribbon fror the 1939 EK2 and 1941/42 east Medal! :speechless1:

    By mid war, so many hundreds of thousands of Wehrmacht personnel all had such common combinations that double and triple single woven piece ribbon bar multiple ribbons were produced to speed up the making of the most common award combinations. More on that in the main text section.
