    This Austro-Hungarian ribbon bar fairly closely mimics the effect that wearing individual 40mm width ribbons on the individual sewn-on tunic loops for full sized medals would have looked like. But in this case there is a long sharp NASTY "bayonet" type prong fastener on back. There do not seem to have been regulations governing ribbon bars for the Hapsburg armed forces, anything desired being left to each wearer's fashion choice.
