1) He is wearing two of the same awards from his ribbon bar AND buttonhole!

2) He is wearing a foreign bravery award from his buttonhole which has plainly not just been presented since IT is not there.

3) He has placed his silver-sworded Bulgarian bravery award (doubtless the Soldiers Cross for Bravery 4th Class) AHEAD of his Sudeten Medal.

Very very often the various WW1 Commemorative Medals from the then-Central Powers show up similarly as if they were German "natives."
