CATEGORY 1: FIRST PLACE WINNER
A candlelit shot of a m1874 French Cuirassier casque and a m1882-ish French officer's pallasch in cuirassier style, together with a snifter of Camus XO cognac. I made the photo as a thank you to a French friend who gave me the cognac during a visit. He said that a good cognac would lend real atmosphere to my French militaria collection. He was right.
The only modifications to the original file were to add a bit of blur to the label on on the cognac bottle and the addition of the text, which pretty much sums-up why I participate in this wonderful hobby.
