larsb001 Posted April 14, 2014 Share Posted April 14, 2014 Hello All. I have got this medal for War Aid 1914-1918 from the town of Plauen in Saxony. It is Silver and excellent quality, but I'd like to know which ribbon would be the correct one for this? Also if anybody could add a little further information, ie. how rare is this one, could it be worn on a ribbon bar together with official decorations or was it purely inofficial? By searching the web I found out that Plauen had around 121000 inhabitants in 1910 so it wasn't Germany's largest city in any way. Any info appreciated.
