    polish lancer watercolour, need help!

    Recommended Posts

    hey guy's;

    I was offered thise watercolour , i like very much.

    But nor the saler or I, are able to value it.

    I am on different other fora threating about antiques and art in general, but no one came up with any good reference regarding watercolours by the same artist.

    So I am trying my chance here.

    Thanks in advance.

    I suspect the answer to your question will depend on whether you are buying this watercolour for enjoyment or profit, Stuka. I am having difficulty reading the name of the artist and the date. Can you help me out, please?

    Oeps! Sorry!!

    Of course it is Kazimierz PULASKI (1861-1947)

    And there is a big tear in the middle, but being a restorer myself I value that cost around the 250€ if done by one of my collegues.

    The person selling it is a fellow member of a other forum, so we are looking for a general value in order to manage to get a price both can satisfy.
