My latest bust based on the only extant portrait of Brock made in his life and an anatomical analysis by Canadian artist Matt Danko of what he looked light from a 3/4 view.

I like it! Many of the current renderings, of which there are a profusion, strike me as pretty insipid. I'm not sure I'd have called him handsome, but he had a strong face and your bust captures that excellently, IMHO.

Very nice, I too like this sculpture.

The War iof 1812 is an area my wife takes a keep interest in and one of the contributing factors that allow me to collect British black powder firearms with impunity from spousal discord.

Thanks gents. I'm not sure I like it much but your encouragement will at least let me take it to the painting stage. I found this really interesting article (70+ pages) on Brock's uniform and other artifacts. I attached some better views of his face. Interesting that he had auburn (copper) coloured hair. Not often seen in paintings.
