saxcob Posted September 6, 2014 Share Posted September 6, 2014 Attached are images of the - Komtur 2nd class awarded on the 25th March 1913 (by Bury, Hanau) and the - Komtur 1st class awarded after WWI (by Meybauer, Berlin) to Willy Tischbein (see http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/37362-who-is-grovater-tischbein/?hl=Tischbein). The order continued to be awarded until this was officially forbidden with decree of the 14th November 1935. The first class was only awarded 63 times after WWI.
