Adler 1 Posted December 2, 2014 Share Posted December 2, 2014 At first sight it is indeed the leather trim, but of course the poor quality of the liner is also a give away. You can also spot the fake kokarde and feldzeigen immediately if you know how an original should look. The felt body is softer than an original and it will bend very easy... I might take some pics of my pickelhaube and start a new thread, I'll be gutted if it's a bad one but either way I'd like to know. You've shown a very nice example.
