NavyFCO Posted January 13, 2015 Author Share Posted January 13, 2015 I have a feeling that this person already had holes in their uniform, so when the unit forced them to change the hanger, they "rebelled" and kept it a screwback. He was an artilleryman (cannon artillery?) and that's probably the reason for having it secure on his uniform...or at least my hypothesis!!
