    Hi Gents,

I would like to share some photos from my collection.

I couldn´t identify them. Maybe someone is able to

find out who it is. Every help appreciated.

This photo is signed with Graf von R. on the back.

I think he is a major from the Ulanen and he is at least wearing BMVO 2 and breaststar from RAO

    Regards

    Andreas

    Andreas,

Bavarian officer photo taken in Berlin

The later General der Infanterie Luitpold Frhr. v. und zu der Tann-Rathsamhausen as a General Staff Hauptmann attached to the Prussian General Staff in Berlin around 1883. It is a Prussian RAO4 before the Saint Maurice and Lazarus.

So, does anyone who who this officer is? I assume he is a royal as he wears the Red Eagle Grand Cross and the Bavarian Military Merit Order 1st class. It's not a second class as its too large. I assume he wears an EK2 1914

I would love to own a copy of this photo. It's superb

    of course!

Bavarian chevauleger officer from Bamberg with

Not a Chevauleger but an Ulanen Officer: Rittmeister Oskar Renz of 1. Ulanen-Regiment around 1895. And yes, that is a KO4.

    Andreas,

    General from Magdeburg with:

I am fairly sure that is Oberst (later Generalmajor) Albert Crusius, Kommandeur of Feldartillerie-Regiment Nr. 4 around 1872. I believe that is a Luxemburg Order of the Oak Crown Officers' Cross in the end position on the medal bar.

    RAO4, KO3, EK1 70, DA, LEK4

    Regards

    Glenn

    Hi Andreas,

Some great photos. I hope you don't mind my hijacking your thread, but I'd be grateful to know when Richard Frhr. v. Süßkind-Schwendi was promoted to General.

    Thanks,

    Matt.
