On March 2003 military helicopter Ka-27PS that was assigned to this unit took off from the major anti-submarine ship "Admiral Tributs". And yes, now that I have it I can say that this one was actually awarded and is 100% good. So now, we know that orders in the 100000 range were issued in the late 1980s. Pretty cool!DaveGreat job, Dave! Can you post the images of this award card? Still I have to say that those cases of orders above 100.000 being issued is more like an exception, not a rule. Not to sound greedy, but I had to pay for the research out of my own pocket, and if I posted it up here, that means that the current owner could have it for free - and potentially use it to make a profit were they to go sell the award... Basically, I would be paying for them to make a profit. If I knew the owner of the award, or if he were a friend of mine, it would be completely different. But, what if the current owner of this award is a dealer, who would simply use the posted award card to make money? No thanks....DaveDave makes a really good point, and one we ought all to ponder. If Dave said "A" I was expecting to hear "B". Dave, I understand that you paid your own money for research. But this picture came from Russian collector some years ago. There is a very small chance that the person who currently owns this order can visit this forum and steal your research. But other fellow forum members would definetely appreciate your information about highest issued number. And this little trick with watermark on the image is really good solution to protect your copyright from all sorts of crooks.So what did we learn from this?
