    1. http://gmic.co.uk/uploads/monthly_02_2012/post-10950-0-68988600-1329161498.jpgHello Everyone, Would like opinions about this Air Crew Medal if so inclined. Appears to be the real deal to me based on my reviews of what the experts say. There is a nick in the "I" of the "VI". The pictures are better than the scans, but to large to upload. The medal has nice pebbling and the correct number of beads/perals in the center part of the crown, the V points to the left side of the "W" in the word crew...............
    2. Thank you. It appears I may have found this man's military history on line - when he was promoted to Sgt, he had 2 good conduct medals but would have had 4 had he not been promoted!!! He was also awarded the Turkish medal.......very inter:cheers: esting.................
    3. This is engraved, "Arthur Rowe Color Sergt No. 360 CH.R.M.L.I." What does the "No. 360" and "CH.R.M.L.I." stand for? Thanks
    4. I stand corrected, the last name is HOSKER...........................
    5. This medal is engraved, " HASKER 13th Lt. Dragoon". I also have his long service and good conduct medal that is engraved, " 1003, Ser Jt. H Hasker 3rd Dn Gds." I assume the Gds is for Guards, but what would the Dn stand for? I have located a roster on the internet that had the name THOMAS HASKER under the 13th Lt Dragoons. Any websites I can hit for more info? Thanks
    6. Thank you !!!!!!! I appreciate that very much........................
    7. Thanks SO much for that information. I appreciate it more than you know. May I have your permission to cut and paste this post to a blank word document for future reference?
    8. Wow!!! This is great!!! The 1887 medal was awarded to PC J STEVENS in B Div not W Div..........my bad........sorry..... The other 2 medals have his name and W Div.........so I assume this man with Warrant No. 67311 is the correct J STEVENS. I assume PC is police constable...............and PS would be????? Do you have any more information available on Mr. Stevens? Thanks
    9. Yes you are quite correct. I had failed to mention that in my original post!!!! Thanks
    10. Greetings from the Great State of Texas!! I have a triple medal set comprised of the Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Victoria - 1887, Coronation of His Majesty King Edward VII - 1902 and Coronation of 1911 all issued/engraved to P.S. J. STEVENS W. DIV. I have been told that only about 600 police officers received all 3 of these medals. Is that information accurate? Many Thanks and if any of you are headed to the Military Tattoo Festival in August..............we'll see you there............... Best Regards
