      Grüß Gott Kameraden, Here's a recent Gebirgsjäger portrait addition to my collection of a battle tested Feldwebel, but I have not been able to identify the medal above his Iron Cross 1st Class. Someone on another forum suggested that it might be the Romanian Virtute Militara. Can anyone ID it and was this medal awarded to German troops?
