The Meritorious Service Medal. For, well, meritorious service to the state. Awarded to government and non-government personnel. Never awarded to military personnel. Obverse: The Lapau, the tradition Royal Ceremonial building. Now houses the offices of the Adat Istiadat, the Protocol Centre. Reverse. Adjoining the Lapau (from behind the Lapau), the Dewan Majlis, the traditional Parliament Hall itself. Post-Nomimals: P.I.K.B. One of the more commonly dished out medals during the Sultan's birthday Honours list, it is almost a 'given' for any civil servant to be awarded this, with a long enough service record.
