    1. That a big help! While the pink piping could be interesting, I like the sound of poppy red piping best.
    2. Ay, there's the rub! I'm not quite sure which regiment I should paint them as, and was looking for all the variations to try and choose from. From what small amount of research I've been able to find, yellow piping like in your photo was very popular in Dragoner units.
    3. I'm painting up some miniatures of World War I German dragoners and I'm finding it hard to find any references for feldgrau uniforms. There's tons of information on all the dunkelblau waffenrock pre-war stuff, but not much on what was actually worn during the war. Are there any reference charts with colors of cuffs, piping, shoulderboards, etc. that anyone knows of, or any book with descriptions of these details for all the dragoner regiments while worn in the field, 1914-18?
    4. I have a 1943-marked web shell dressing bag where the words "Shell dressings" have been painted over with a black square and the letters "BR" stencilled over it in white. I've looked around the Internet and found other "BR" bags, but no explanation as to what they signify. I had heard once about these bags being repurposed as tool bags for civilian or Home Guard use, but I'm not sure if these markings are connected to that. I've even contacted KarkeeWeb.com and they didn't have an answer either. I don't suppose "BR" stands for "box respirator" ...
    5. I found a photo of this reproduction German tunic while skimming google and was wondering if you gentlemen knew what it was supposed to be. It claims to be a "M1915 officer's tunic," but I've never seen something like it before. The closest thing I can figure is maybe some kind of guards cavalry tunic. Any ideas?
