First name - Major (later Oberstleutnant aD) Adolf Seyfert, from IR 85. Born 1871 in Danzig - he can be found on Ancestry. His EK1 appears in the Posener Tageblatt 03.09.1915 (Nr 411).

Hi Gunnar, thanks for the info. Very interesting that he scored an early victory in FFA 62 whilst serving with some other famous individuals!

Lt dR Otto Hansen from Kiel was awarded the EK1 as per the Berliner Börsen-Zeitung 20/08/1915. He was in an unknown Fliegerabteilung. A possible.

A new first name & a photo (pages 1 & 5): Lt dR Paul Wagner, later a DKiG recipient. Not to be confused with the later General Paul Wagner. The latter was an Oblt at the time of his award, and therefore does not appear in the MWB.

By the way, I have the MWB 17/08/18 recipient as the later gauleiter, Lt Adolf Wagner of IR 135....

The below website mentions a Lt dR Hans Becker. He was in PB 7 and can be found in the verlustlisten. Not sure when he was gazetted with the HOH3x, but his EK1 was noted in the Kölnische Zeitung dated 10 June 1916, along with a Heinrich Becker.

Hi Gunnar,
Many thanks for confirming! Hugo Steppuhn was formerly of IR 43. I believe his HOH3x was gazetted on 09/11/1918.
