    1. I know this is a little late however I thought I should mention that, after looking at the photos, it seems the 1939-1945 Star and the Africa Star have the incorrect ribbons on them and should be swapped with each other. I just thought I should point it out to you.
    2. My grandfather served in the Royal Army prior to, and during, WW2. I have his military records and his medals are listed as per the picture below. I have identified 1939-1945 Star, Africa Star with 1st Army clasp, Italy Star, Defence Medal and 1939-1945 War medal. My question is relating to the note at the top right hand corner of the clasps box. Can anyone identify what that note is referring to? It looks like the date it was sent was in 1940 which is prior to the award of any of the other medals. I'm stumped and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on it. Daz
