    1. Thank you very much! Oberfeldarzt d.R. Dr. August Brun (15.01.1893-Nach 1969) 01.02.1936 Sanitäts-Abteilung 9 31.03.1937 Sanitäts-Abteilung 36 20.03.1941 Kriegs-Lazarett-Abteilung 520 00.00.1943 Kommandeur Sanitätsabteilung Lemberg Coincidentally he is seen on a photograph with Generalleutnant Kurt Beuttel, whom bar I have as well. What a small world!
    2. I have only seen the second and third class on german ribbon bars, but never the first. It seems to be very rare in general. The only bar I can show is this one to an Oberfeldarzt with the second class among other foreign awards.
    3. This would be a Slovak Bravery Medal I.Class in gold.
    4. 3rd ribbon: Ehrenzeichen für deutsche Volkspflege 1.Klasse mit Miniatur 4th and 5th ribbons look like ungarische and bulgarische Kriegserinnerungsmedaille.
    5. Hello, I am trying to identify the signature of this documen, which belonged to a Major Lange, serving with IR114 in May 1917. It could be the following guy, although there is no info about him serving in IR114: Major Lange 1914: Hauptmann in IR113 KO4, HEK3 1918: Major a.D. IR113 This was the closest match I could find. Was there any other Major Lange in IR114? All the best, Nicolas
    6. A small supplement, the reason for his SH3: In den erbitterten Kämpfen der 87. In the bitter fighting of the 87th Inf.-Div. In the summer battle between Vermandovillers and Chaulnes, on September 6th, 1916, after strong artillery preparations, the French infiltrated some trenches of the Schütz.-Rgt. 108. Immediately Lt. Poetzsch collected a few courageous people around him and advanced with hand grenades against the enemy. One shoulder parapet after the other was cleaned, and after a short but fierce battle the enemy surrendered their weapons. The loot was 130 unwounded prisoners, 3 machine guns, many rifles and pieces of equipment.
    7. I think I found a very likely candidate for this bar: Leutnant d.R. Max Pötzsch, who received his St.Henry on 30.10.1916. Furthermore I found a SA-Sturmführer Max Pötzsch in Reichenberg i.V., Sachsen and a Prokurist Max Pötzsch in Plauen, which is very close to Reichenberg i.V.. Possibly our guy. Photos are from an auction in 2016.
    8. I found another possible candidate: 1928 Leutnant des Marineingenieurwesens Ernst Bennewitz EK1, DA, AEZ1 , AK AEZ1 as Torpedomaschinist, 19.09.1912 , III. Halbflotille If he got the Centenary, he would be very good candidate, as the back of the ribbon bar looks like Marine to me. I would greatly appreciate any further Info about him. Nicolas
    9. Thank you very much, gentlemen! That is a lovely bar, Christophe. Two more bars with Liakat medals from my collection. The longer one also has a turkish lifesaving medal and a few other turkish awards, which I cannot identify exactly. I think they used a LüH ribbon for the Imtiaz medal. Nicolas
    10. Hello, Great observation! Thank you very much! I appreciate all your comments. Best regards Nicolas
    11. Very interesting, Vince. Actually I am wondering if the combination of the top bar is even possible. My guess would be: EK2, SA3bX, SK, AT, SWA3X, SD Nicolas
    12. Thank you very much, Glenn. So it is later Generalmajor z.V. Neymann. Interestingly this Oberstleutnant Neumann I have in my archive looks kind of similiar or doesn't he? Maybe a relative? Or I am just wrong as they only have the same type of beard. Best regards Nicolas
    13. Hi, Thank you very much. Yes, the first one is a bit strange, but I think it is original. Very nice ribbon bar you got there. Could you ID it? Best regards, Nicolas
