It’s a monument to German and Austro-Hungarian prisoners of the first world war built in 1916 and located in Khabarovsk, Russia. http://en.tracesofwar.com/article/80653/Mass-Grave-German-en-Austro-Hungarian-Prisoners-of-War.htm I wonder if it’s easy to trace the information on all of those persons using military records which would be great.
    3. Hello, I’m new to the forum and I thought I could find some help here with identifying military ranks written in Austro-Hungarian Prisoners of war memorial which I need to translate. I don’t understand german language and searching in google didn’t help me. Could you help me please with understanding and translating the memorial board?
