  2. Hi all, my knowledge on this subject is lacking and I was wondering if someone can tell me what appurtenances (Palms, Crossed swords etc) were worn on the ribbon of the various Belgium Orders (Leopold, Leopold II, Crown Orders). Also what these devices mean. Thanks so much! Greg

Anyway, my question is, what was the criteria for this award (to include the crown device) and was this award given according to the individuals rank? Was this also a progressive award like the EK?   7. Hi, hope this is the correct forum! Anyway, I was wondering were the Diamond grade War Badges (U- Boat, S-Boat, etc) fall into play with regards to order of precedence. Do these badges "outrank" say the German Cross (in Gold), Roll of Honor Clasps of even the Knights Cross? I know that they are worn above the EKI, but what about other decortaions? I guess, just were do they "fit in"? Thanks so much!!!! Greg
