    1. Thx! Thats very interesting - as this is IMHO quite unusual for suspension to be in gold too. But thats quite great also
    2. Bob do you know if the suspension is also made from gold - or is it brass?
    3. Unfortunately during the last month, the market seems to be covered with fake Bulgarian Hero Medals as they can now be found regularly at the usual hotspots (see pictures for 2 examples). Most of them seem to come from Bulgaria, so I estimate that the faker is also located there. The fakes are very rude/rough made in fantasy versions and the sellers even confirm that they are "replicas" - as the quality is to bad to convince anyone it is original anyway - but they dont hesitate to claim that it is an "original mint made wearers copy" asking already unbelievable high prices for their s-h-i-t. I am sure, nobody would fall for it - but I feel the fakes soon will get better with time and this faking buttholes are yet again ruining fun for collectors of yet another medal. Lets hope that molten iron flows down on the fakers feet, burning away their wish to spread their fakes forever. 😝
    4. Hello, Thank you for all your replies! About the 1st model - does this model also exist with mint marks too or is it usually non-marked?
    5. So its an A4 - I would have never guess - many Thanks for this valuable info!
    6. Hi, Thanks for your reply. I was just whondering - I could google a few medals with this mintmark - and all of them seem to have been offered now or recently, which could just be coincidence too, of course.
    7. Dear Gentlemen, Does anyone know this mintmark? Is it an 14k original or an labour hero replica? This mintmark is not shown in Grafs collection above and medals marked with this seem to appear more and more often? PS. What does it actually show? Looks like an UFO? XD
    8. Thanks for your reply Graf. I asked seller about any mint mark - but then he replied that the medal was sold. I am not sure if it was really suddenly sold - or he realized its not marked and cancelled it.
    9. I would be glad to hear you guys opinion on this star here below. On a first impression the medal looks quite fine to me - but there are this very obvious unsharp/blurred corners on edge of the star, especially on the lower right side, that look like the metal was somehow... melted there? Unfortunately, no info about a mint mark and no other pictures available.
    10. I have done some research during the last 2 days and can now definetely confirm that there is a new type of Hero of Labor Medal in Cuba. This new Version hast got a large gear now behind the star, actually quite similar looking to those sold at ebay right now. This can be also seen on the cuban award sites: http://www.trabajadores.cu/heroe Comparing the date of the pictures, this new typ of award seems to be in official use since around 2021, as the 2020 awardess seem to still have received the older, known type. Also the Cuban Hero of Labour Award Ceremonies which can be found at Youtube, show this new design around 2021, when you look very closely - see pic below. Still, about these medals sold online I can't tell if those are wearers copies, tourist souvenirs or the real deal. I am not even sure if wearers copies are/were common in cuba. Also what I found to be quite uncommon, is, that each award seems to be available as a screwback AND as a pinback Version - with otherwise very minor to non-existant differences. (excluding the miniature sizes). Could this have to do anything with first and second class of this medal? What I also realized is, that the hole of the support plate where the ring goes through looks quite large on the versions at ebay. So it could be that this new 2021 award Version already has another subtype (if ebay medals are the real deal). PS. About "caribbean" and "cuba" wording in description, what pride wrote is true - ebay does not allow cuba products to be sold and paypal will make a deep check and / or block payment when word "cuba" shows up, they are also blocking quite some communist countries products that way.
    11. HI Guys, A guy is selling 4 Cuba Hero Medals at ebay, he says they are original from Cuba. IMHO they are fake - but still wanted to ask around here - did Cuba have a new Revision / Type of Hero Medals that does looks so chinese faked now? https://www.ebay.com/itm/125072163460
    12. Hi Tang Si, Great picture of this medal! (I hope you are still an active member, btw) Do you (or anyone here) know how to find out if a Kim-Il Sung Medal is original? I have seen some medals around the internet, but all seem to have some minor differences. Is output of NK Mint really so much variating? Unfortunately, also picture in Sessler's book is not helping, as details can't be seen. Where I live we don't have any Pro on NK medals. I hope there are some NK Medals Professionals around here that have some hints?
