    1. WOW! so, when you pass on the the other side, which museum will get this wonderful piece of work!! Terrence
    2. absolutely stunning!!! The hanger is fantastic! I feel much better now that I have had my observation fix. Truely my favorite ship ever. I have been building models of him (this ship was not known as a she) since I was 9 years old (oh so long ago). Keep us posted, Terrence
    3. and thus... the basis for it all.... The big dog himself probably knew what he was doing. Terrence
    4. I attributed that to its being the first of the navy badges and copied from the looks of the Heer bagdes. Something that was changed fwith intent for some reason.
    5. and... slightly off the subject.... BUT... while Hitler's face is posted on just about EVERYTHING..... stamps, etc.... his mug is lacking from all treasury coinage. Coincidence???? Terrence
    6. Especially when one considers that breast eagles face the same direction for all services and all cap eagles as well.... EXCEPT...... the Kriegsmarine pith helmet eagle, which faces dexter. I believe it was all done with intent. Someone knows something. Clearly the designers did. Terrence
    7. Oh My GOSH..... Gordon, your work is absolutely amazing yet again!!!! Would you post pictures of your working desk for these masterpieces, please? Lighted magnifing lenses? tools? etc? If you lived in the US, I would invite myself over for a look and an afternoon of chatting. Best regards, Terrence
    8. I have often wondered about that. I believe the small size of the swastica was intentional. Case in point, the absence of the swastica on navy officer brocade belts and the external of officer swords. Years ago, I bought a mini of the km destroyer badge from Bill Shea. It was posted on his site "without swastica". In fact it was there but so small it was barely discernable even with a 10x loop. Terrence
    9. excellent work Gordon, was it a from scratch model? Best regards, Terrence
