    1. Thought I would throw in a close-up photo of the badge! Zeppelin air ships were a large part of the German attempt to control the air war in WW1. They were used to bomb London and HMAS Sydney was attacked by one. This is the Pilot's badge for a Zeppelin crew. JD
    2. Very interesting!? It appears to Japanese, with the "Mum" in the center. But I think it was hand made. The Japanese medals I've seen are of Good high quality. Maybe a personal locket? Thanks!
    3. So from what I am understanding, the size of the one Cool posted at 42mm is correct for the early versions. But Mr. Williamson what do you mean by, the other features are more telling? Thanks
    4. I have to admit that I have never heard of it. WOW...that's a great piece! I wonder how many people have seen or may have one, that does not know what it is or was? Thanks for posting1
    5. My pick would be a B-17G Flying Fortress! And if I could really go out on a limb...add two escort fighters, a P-47 and a P-51.
    6. I'm no expert on crosses, and the ring probably has a story of it's own, but it looks to be a nice cross Cool. Maybe Mr. Williamson will give you his opinion on this one? cheers!
    7. Bill, Indeed a rare and beautiful Cross! Thank-you for showing me these examples posted. Anyone would be proud to have this one in their collection. Panzer57
    8. The last thing I heard was, it could take up to 12 years to pull out and end it!!!
    9. Beautiful EK1 Bill! That's a tricky MM?...do you have a photo of a Gro?mann variant?
    10. Hi Don, No, real Kreigs flags do not glow! As a rule for these flags they will have 6 rows of stitching on the long sides, 8 rows of stitching on the fly end. Should also have the natural bond edge on the long sides (or at least one side) And hemp rope. Andy, I hope you find a place to display it soon! Looks good to me!
    11. Always been my favorite center for the crosses. Nice one!
    12. Very nice Crosses, these babies are very addicting. Watch your pocket book! jd
