    2. Typical Partisan Gp (a couple of Uncle Joe's)..1st Class with Victory over Germany
    3. A nice low number to the Bravery Medal...for a T1 V3...ring is intact as well...quite lucky to find this one. Chris
    4. Early Para Badge 1935ish...very neglected in my view these early Soviet Para as they were amougst the first..
    5. An unusual designed Bayonet for a Mosan Nagant, Leningrad circa 41-44...
    6. These are the main medals awarded to a Guards Major who I think was probably wounded and discharged as he also has the Victory over Germany in the military and civilian versions. The medals are mounted with a well worn Guards badge...this group came mounted as such. Chris
    7. Paul The armoured car is very well made of light alloy material...not sure of when but it is not recent. Thought it complemented my collection and just liked its look... Regards Chris
    8. This Honorable Railway Man in Silver...early 30ties my favourite period as the quality was tip top. Chris
    9. The Soviets continued the traditions of medal and badge production of earlier times...this is 1939...41 Best in Navy in Silver. Chris

    11. I first got interested in this hobbie when I was asked by a friend to get him a certain medal as I was in this part of the world...I will Post close ups over time and more. I was hooked. Chris
    12. They showed all the very top end medals at southbys with a Red Banner Screwback 3 as the minnow in the assortment. Chris
    13. Just been talking to my Russian other half she has clarified that they showed Nikita K Grandson who had his Grandfathers medals stolen from him and went on to say that medals like this were on sale in Southbys stolen from Museums and relatives. NK's medals were not on sale but he has not got them back so some collector has them I bet. Chris
    14. Just been watching a Russian news programme and the medals in question were stolen from relatives...serial numbers matched etc...i.e Nikita Khrushchev Grandson had his medals and they were stolen and these were part of the medals for sale. They even showed the guy who stole them...must have passed them on before that. Without doubt if we have a fair sized collection I would imagine some are stolen for our needs. I would imagine that the seller did not know they were stolen and if he did he will not have the last laugh. I am glad that they may now get back to relatives. Chris
    15. Rob I was a PW1...this fot was in Estonia yesterday...joined Deal as a recruit this month in 74 and then joined CTCRM...still doing the job by other means as you are... The bandies on the Canberra were terrific...they were so versatile...Elvis impressions etc...in much demand and then became hands in the field...
