    1. avadski: I use the method described in the post: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=28688 I hope it helps. Galdino
    2. Outsdanding post, Ricky. I started a small collection of pins and medals of the period too: Here in Brazil is a popular subject of collecting, specially between people that are from Sao Paulo State (who fought against the dictatorship). Those pins are increasing their prices too much in my opinion.
    3. I neeed some more information about this badge and if it's real or repro:
    4. It reminds me the movie Anna and the king od Siam. Anna would received this medal in real life, isn't it?
    5. Outstanding, Brendan! My way to display my collection is similar as your "wall of glory" (my wife call it wall fo fame"). I hope that in the near future you will have to find a wall even bigger How did you fixed the medals inside the fame?
    6. I agree. It's almost like to be buying it all again. You have all the possibilities ahead. I love this part of collecting as much as to have the pieces themselves. Good luck!
    7. Thanks for the wellcome, Paul! My question was not quite correct about the german insignias. The diference I ask is just about the judicial insignia between the armed forces justice.
    8. Congratulations Paul! This is a very interesting subject. You pot Luftwaffe objects. What is the difference between those and the other german armed forces insignia?
    9. Saddly not, Paul. That is a pattern worn by cadets of the Military Police from the beggining of the 20th century. At the time the armed forces here prefered to import those swords and daggers. This is a german made sword (solingen).
    10. In case any of you have the medal that lacks in Brazilian Expeditionary Force - FEB display (and probably don't know it) here it is: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=28746
    11. Thank you guys for your kind words. It makes me keep going forward in the project. I collect for some years, but, my collection only now is going out of the closet's drawers and getting more space in displays: My wife call that "the fame wall". The space between the two frames bellow the sword will be filled by a brazilian WWII navy display.
