    1. See what I mean? My eyes are not deceiving me.........yet PS Does anyone have 5102b? I have yet to lay eyes on that one.
    2. Ahh I see and very nice. What fooled me was the picture In Husken. To the naked eye it appears to have a spot in the center of the pin indicating where the needle head protrudes. On mine that is. Under a loup it seems to be a wear spot. Your example is much nicer than his. Perhaps what I have was some kind of lure to attract new membership or possibly a simple Sonnewinde trinket hence the flowery needlework. Herr Rosenberg how long has it been? A hearty welcome back. I am sure others would agree that you were sorely missed. Umm now where is Benten? What are your thoughts on this?
    3. Ahh Mr. Rosenberg so glad to see you are here. Very nice. And would this be 5103a?? Sure does look like it to me but without the embroidery. Nice to see you. Robert
    4. Gents I have added another one marked ESP. Were we ever able to determine who this maker might be? Don posted an example on page 1 of this thread. This example I have is much lighter in hand than any of my others. Regards Robert And a nice ad that is Odulf!
    5. Gents Could someone possibly translate this for me. All I gather is Unesco and CCCP. Thanks A lot. Regards Robert
    6. Maybe it is the shooters facial hair. But seriously a very nice piece case and all. Just imagine though the date 1929 and a small swats rising over one of the ships in harbor. With a case is worth thousands and thousands of any denomination. Auction piece. Gut Ostersonntag.
    7. W.Kolwitz Bergedorf Interesting in that attaching pin is in vertical position. Also If I recall correctly Kolwitz is the maker on the infamous fireman fist class fake. Please correct me if I am wrong about that. Good Day
    8. Not my pic but I found it online and put up here. Maybe he has had a few Jagermeisters and is flirting a little. Or maybe she has some "game" hidden and he needs to search her.
    9. Don I was hoping it would be in the newer edition of Husken? It is well made I must say. The eagle reminds me of RDkL a bit. The blue enamel makes me think however it is from a country other than Germany? I couldn't even find it in unbekannte section. Maybe we need a section for unknown and perhaps a visitor can ID them? Just a thought. Thank You for your imput.
    10. I searched again with no success. The eagle seems familiar to me but for the life of me I can't recall from where.
    11. Gents Would anyone have a clue as to the ID of this little bugger? I searched thru Husken but maybe I missed it. Thanks A lot. Robert
    12. Jock We love our pork. What is on its' snout. Here is my swine except with 2 riders. Robert
    13. I would have to concur with Mr. Scowen on this one. A reputable dealer will generally give you a refund. Best Regards Robert
    14. If the story was told to you first hand then you would be able to look for any signs of the story being false. If the story is anything beyond first hand it tends not to be true I would think. It is plausible but could easily be concocted. Do you believe it? The articles you show, if all are original, is what matters, no? What does the little blue bugger have written on the reverse if anything? Either way welcome to you here. This is a friendly place. All the Best Robert PS What I mean by signs would be eye contact and this sort of thing. I am very practiced at this having a 14 year old at home.
