The picture could be anywhere between 1908 and 1938, I have seen pictures as late as 1940 in France were they are still wearing service dress, as Tony said you would need a more detailed look at the uniforms to narrow it down
Hi Andy Tony The liner with oval piece of sponge is a MK.1 liner first introduced in 1937 the liner with with the sponge cruciform shape is the MK.11 introduced in 1939
Finally got a light anti-gas respirator to go with my pattern 44 webbing, dated 1943 it is in good condition for its age just one of the head straps has snapped but I can live with that you don't often see them with this early date and matching dated canister
