Rittmeister Seyffardt

I have a few papers from a Rittmeister Seyffardt dated 1928 for an exercise in the vicinity of Munster. Participants include:

COL Brauchitsch

MAJ von Apell

MAJ Mattenklott (1st DIV)

Rittmeister Seyffardt (KAV. DIV)

Hauptmann Kauffmann (5th & 6th DIV)

It has plenty of signatures etc...

Is there any interest in things like this? I can read quite a bit because it is typed for the most part. There are hand written notes on the backs of some docs.

Any of these guys go on to be famous?

PaulSeyffardt, born 1894, alive 1958. Generalleutant 1.1.43. Taken prisoner as CO 348 Inf Div September 1944, KCIC and GCiG.

Walther von Brauchitsch (1881-1948) was Generalfeldmarschall 19.7.40 and Oberbefehslahber of the Army 1938 until relieved by Hitler in 1941. KCIC

Georg von Apell (1884-1945) made Generalleutnant 1.6.38 but was placed on F?hrer Reserve 6.8.40-- maybe because of ill health?

Franz Mattenklott (1884-1954) General der Infanterie 1.10.41, KCIC, Commander of XXXXII Armeekorps 1942-44 (Crimea).

Gerhard Kauffmann (1887, alive 1958) Generalleutnant 1.4.41, KCIC, Commander 256 Inf Div 1940-42, retired (?!) in 1943.

The following additional information may have some value.

Gen.Lt. Paul Seyffardt died on 20.Sep. 1979;

Gen.Lt. Gerhard Kauffmann was placed into Fuehrerreserve O.K.H. 12.Jan. 1942 because of a clash with A.Hitler and retired 30.Sep.1943 Gen. Kauffmann died on 16.Jun. 1969 in Berlin.

Thanks guys. The RK I bought had these papers with it. The note book has Rittmeister Seyffardt's name on it. Does anyone have a picture of him?
