sweet crosses! Is it possible to obtain any ribbons for these?

    Ulsterman,

There are a couple of Austrian-based sellers on German eBay who sell a selection of original Imperial German and related ribbons on a regular basis. They seem to be selling off old tailor's stock, but much of what they offer is only in widths suitable for ribbon bars. The usual suspects buy from them regularly.

    Another ribbon bars

Hello!! Greetings. This is my field of interest too!!!

There are very intersting, I?ve noted that?s very difficult to find "Bulgaria only" medals?s bars

Yo can see a litte Bulgarian bar I?ve in "Mi coleccion", at the albuns or showcase...(i think)

Please in the square bar, what do you think are the medals that must be hanged (green plain ribbon??...), and the last Military merit, of course...

    Thanks

    Miguel

    That?s the bar in question...

I used to have a couple of good sources for Bulgarian but the supply has diminished. I've never seen a Bulgarian only bar. I thought Bulgarians mounted their medals like the Austrians.

I got this nice medal some years ago as a bonus in a trade.

I didn?t pay much attention to it until I remembered that I can ask all you gentlemen here on this forum about it. Does anybody know for why it was awarded and to whom? This medal itself was together with some very common Hungarian and Austrian WW1 memorial medals in a group.

That is a "Medal for Merit" in bronze for Tsar Boris III (post-war 1918 until his murder in 1943). On civil or peacetime ribbon, and to persons with the same status as army privates.

Let's revive this thread with my Medal For Merit Boris III Bronze - no ribbon.

    Thoughts from the Bulgarian experts?

Nice original medal. This is common and inexpensive award, I did not see them being faked.
