    Kevin - Too funny, I suspect it was somewhere farther east, perhaps the steppes of Ukraine. Look how malnurished the guy on the right looks. This was one of those random Berlin flea market finds back in the 80s. One guy hand hundred of boxes of books, photos, letters etc that you would rummage thru and offer him a price. Kevin

    Brilliant!!! More please.

    On my usual very down to earth note..... such pics drive home the reality that the "Evil German Forces" were made of people just like you and me ....... Not that I did not already know that!!!!!! The German, Russian and British vets I have known where the loveliest people around... probably even more so by the experiences they had been through back in WW2.
