No company name on the pin, perhaps a very small silver mark but difficult to be certain.

I do have another Sedlatzek Tamara in my collection (based on my big excel file used to document my collection) but not at home and can't remember the details and suspect I did not post a picture here.

Attached the pics of the current one.IMG_0434.thumb.jpg.709d5c42362f7082ee45aa90f1b64a69.jpgIMG_0435.thumb.jpg.459bfdb6340e23c6de12b33c73f54c5f.jpg

Consular seals always guarantee authenticity, Bob!   And they are never forged!   The case itself seems in truly excellent condition considering is supposed age.  And such a modest price!!     ?

Some documentation indicates that a German Consulate existed in Tiflis/Tbilisi at the appropriate time [see https://researchleap.com/role-support-germany-along-difficult-way-gaining-georgias-independence-1918/].  Rather unclear, however, what role it would play in this circumstance.

Bryansk1959,  Did you not notice the sarcastic smirk icon???     The case does not seem similar to any known cases and the recess/nest for the star is very clumsy.  Someone either found some old or forged consular stamps and added them for 'legitimacy'.  In practice, what would a consular officer have to do with a military  related award?

I was in Georgia two weeks ago for business and vacation and ran into this picture at a local museum in Tbilisi - Friedrich Werner von der Schulenburgh, Consul of Germany in Georgia. Looks like he may be wearing a Tamara?1678365658_2020-01-2612_23_482.thumb.jpg.61801d6470fdf7041ab7624c4670e542.jpg

Photo of Friedrich Werner von der Schulenburgh from the Museum of Soviet Occupation of Georgia (Tbilisi). He is wearing Order of Queen Tamara. The photo was taken in Tbilisi in 1918. Hello friends, I want to share a photo of Order of Queen Tamara. This award belonged to a famous Georgian politician and public figure of the late 1800s- Niko Nikoladze.

Niko Nikoladze was the honorary chairman of the National Democratic Party of Georgia (1917-1921).

He took an active part in the socio-economic life of the newly created Georgian republic. His signature is on the Act of Independence of Georgia (1918).

More information about him you can find in this following Wikipedia link:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niko_Nikoladze

He was awarded with this Queen Tamara Order in 1918 by the Committee of the Independence of Georgia

I recently received this Tamara plus document and (to my surprise) a bunch of additional documents about the Order of Queen Tamara in general incl scans of 2 additional award documents

the writing on these docs is not always easy to decypher but my award document coming with the Tamara appears awarded to (Sergeant?) Herrmann Stelter from Sturmbataillon 10, correct? Also, this document has written in pencil on it “wintershagen bei neustadt” - any idea of what the significance of that could be? upon googling, it refers to "wintershagen bei neustadt in holstein" (northern germany) - why?
