Perhaps it is finally time to figure this guy out. Probably one of the 377 Dr types (on combatant ribbon) you spoke of in the "Sachsen-Meiningen Unpublished Award Rolls 1914-1918" thread. No LS ribbon and no Prussian Red Cross Medal - probably a Reservist. I wonder how he did with those Slovakian forces on the Russian Front in WWII... I'll be back.Alas no. 10 Feldhilfs?rzte, and 39 Assistenz?rzte (can't have been higher since the Schwarzburg medal is for ENLISTED ranks) but I could not find anybody with an SMK in or from a HESSIAN unit. So that one is going to require the I've heard they are Out There SCHWARZBURG rolls.I'm guessing a Warrant Officer level medical student from the Hessian cross combined with the Schwarzburg medal.So maybe in 2008. That is what is so about ribbon bars, when those two Waldeck ribbons could be four different grades. I am assuming that ONE of them HAS to be a WV4X since I can't imagine two while still an NCO and THEN an HHOX without anything officer class from the home state.Da woik nevuh ends!
