Richard Gordon
I thought I would post this. Initially nothing looks unusual, that is until you see the reverse...

Bill Garvy
A most unusual cross, Richard; reminds me of my 1939 in 1st Class with Imperial features, inclusive of an "N" maker mark, an unknown manufacturer of 1914 issue crosses. . .obverse:reverse:hinge:clasp:

George Stimson
Gordon, I think he means EKs made in the Imperial shape. Most 1914s I've seen made in the TR era are shaped like 1939 EKs.

George Stimson
Here's another "L/52" pinback in the Imperial (or, Shinkel) shape. Edited August 8, 2005 by George Stimson
joe campbell
i recently obtained 4 TR era 1914's.1 pinback which is allegedly an L/11and three screwbacksan L/12an L/16andan L 54.none particularly mimic the schinkel shape.perhaps the schinkel shape seen in early '39'sis also borne out in the early TR era '14's....soon as i can get comfy with getting pictures up,you'll see 'em.very nice photos!joe
