EK 1939 Knights Cross Gallery

80 posts in this topic

Hi all,

If you have an RK or any items that relate to the Knights Cross(Oakleaves/higher add ons/Urkunde/Mappe etc) then please post here. It doesn't matter if the same manufacturer is posted more than once and 57er RKs can also be shown.

I think it would be great if we can get a large "gallery" of RKs all in one thread, doesn't matter if your Cross has been posted before...lets see 'em again!

Please include a brief description of the type etc.

Dave

I'll get it started.

Hello

Sadly I can only offer a lone 57 RK. Cased, with a length of ribbon, it is a three piece, magnetic core, early 57 from S&L.

There are some really tasty RK's here. I would one day like to have a genuine pre 45 one in my collection, unfortunately, obtaining a mortgage at my time of life may well be problamatic. However, I live in hope

By the way, the above OLS are also shown in Bowen's book "The Prussian and German Iron Cross" p388.

Here is another RK + Oaks. The Cross is S & L.
