No offense intended to the poster BUT Is this actual English being written here?

Do we really need to be addressed like small children? :o

I can tolarate the English language being mis-spelt by a non-native, but this "baby talk" is beyond that.

And could somebody PLEASE change the title to: "Medals of The Republic of Viet-Nam".

There is absolutely no need for this type of behavior here. I dont like your language and most importantly, your attitude. You are welcomed to participate in this forum, but please maintain a bit of decorum and self dignity. Thanks

Title has been changed to one that is more easily searchable.

    Right on the money Paul.

Being one who (or is that whom) has always struggled with the proper use and spelling of the English language I found it quite frustrating to have to attempt reading this near gibberish.

On the other hand, to be completely fair (at least in my mind), I've noticed a few senior members use "cutsie" terms and words from time to time to make a point in a humorous fashion. Perhaps this is a matter of qualitative versus quantitative?

    Cheers

I doubt it is worthwhile continuing THIS thread. Might be best to simply start serious threads up. I'm going to close this one for that reason and split out the good illustrated parts.

As Brian notes, jocularity and "insulting" banter between old, old friends often occurs (MMC  ) with the relaxed familiarity of hundreds and thousands of posts over the years, and yet indeed serves a serious pedagogic purpose if it aids in adding some good natured interest among the curmudgeonly and eccentric long term denizens.
