leigh kitchen Posted September 20, 2007 Share Posted September 20, 2007 (edited) When I was a kid, I wanted a German helmet, the dealer I visited (Bill Tobin, had a shop in abasement off the New Kent Road in London, provided uniforms & equipment for the TV series "Manhunt" back in the 70's) did'nt have one when I visited so I spent ?1.50 I think it was (might have been as much as ?5 but I think it was only ?1.50 on this. It's the only para lid I've got & it's never going to have a German mate at the prices they go for. SMP Posted September 20, 2007 Share Posted September 20, 2007 Don't feel bad Leigh - that is a great para helmet. MK2 paras with leather straps and original paint (like yours ) now fetch ?600-?700.
