Chris S Posted September 3, 2005 Share Posted September 3, 2005 I was offered a Bogdan 3rd class nearly six years ago for the extremely high price of 600 dollars (well I thought it was then)He then offered all his other medals and doc for 100 dollars...turned out he had a Pat war 1st and 2nd class, Red Banner, two Red Stars and a Combat Service medal.Nice little group this, hard to find Bogdan's let alone as a group...guess I had a lucky day.Chris Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yet another group you have GOT to get researched-- this is just crying out for the Full Story. He had an amazing war record for only a Lieutenant-- FIVE awards from January 1944 on (the OPW2 falls in a gap of scrambled numbers, but the OPW1 probably Feb '45 and the ORB Dec '44-Jan '45) That last Red Star is definitely among the over 100,000 all awarded on 30 December 1956 in an enormous 15 years active service bunch for the 1941 class.
