Sino Soviet Friendship Medals

Ayuh. Colonel S. V. Grishin should appear in the Heroes listings. Having apparently graduated from both Frunze and the General Staff Academiues, later a General? The stamping is from the Frunze Academy, suggesting perhaps he returned to be on the staff there?

...The Vice Admiral 20.11.55 is Grigory Ivanovich Tsch.... but once again the deleterious effects of shooting people with good penmanship and filling the higher ranks with officers who last attended school at the age of 12 is plainly evident in the appallingly illegible chicken scratches that passed as Soviet handwriting.

Rick,

That would be Schedrin, Grigory Ivanovich
