The more I stray beyond medals and into other (lesser) militaria and such, the more confused I become.

Here, for the record are some recently received Mongolian belts. While information has been requested from friends, I am clueless at present.

The second one is dark blue and yellow, the third is dark green and yellow.

Buckle of the officers belt of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Army. The buckle has been in use from early 1930s to 1940. There is 1924 type Coat of Arms (Soyombo) in the center of the buckle. Very rare.

Photo of Corps Commander Jamyan Lhagvasuren and Division Commander Tsend taken at Khalkhin Gol front line in August 1939. Lhagvasuren is wearing the belt with the identical buckle shown previously.
