WW1 medals to the ribbon bar (nurse of a monastery)

    Recommended Posts

    Hello Friends

I got that ribbon bar and one medal "F?r Pflege der Soldaten 1914". The man, who presented those items to me, told me that it belonged to a nurse of a monastery. She helped to cure soldiers during WW1.

Is it possible to tell me to which bar the medal belongs and which other medals belong to the ribbon bar? If possible, with picture.

Many thanks for your kind help.

The first ribbon is for a Prussian Red Cross Medal 3rd Class-- which in this case would be a zinc wartime issue. The second ribbon is for the W?rttemberg Charlottenkreuz.

    someone might have more info

[and will request a picture of the back side of the bar]

    but my impression is

1st place Prussian Red Cross 2nd or 3rd class

2nd place - probably Charlotte Cross

3rd place the medal you have

    nice

I sold one of these Hessian medals on Ebay last year and was quite surprised when it only brought $35. I had thought maybe double that. Shows what I know.
