D.P.M.P. is 2nd class set of Order of the Crown. People will get confuse, because they do NOT know that the shape of Order of the Crown has been modified during the reign of Sultan Azlan. Here shown are A.M.P Ahli Makhota Perak : Member of Order of the Crown of Perak (lowest rank of this Order). The first type badge was 8 pointed small silver star, then the second type is a 9 pointed small breast star with smooth gilded arms (retain exact same ribbon as the first type), then the third version is 9 pointed small breast star with featured design on the gilded arms. From internet - "The medal was awarded by the Malaysian Government in recognition of services and for fighting in the Indonesian-Malaysian Confrontation during 1963-1966."
