I would say no, as the case is probably mid war, with the cross maybe being 15-20 years older or more. all true, but the lining of the lid on the case is smudged precisely from the core of the cross, which fits into case like no other cross has been in it. i'm not about to separate them. we've all seen stranger things-- such as '39 meybauer Ek1s with '14 meybauer backing plate systems, etc etc. anyhow, :cheers: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
