    Got this photo last week its obviously a standard party for an old comerades group-can anyone enlighten me more

    Came in an envelope

    on the front is a printed badge and motto? to the

    Kameradschaft Berlin-Neukolln der ehem.Zeiten-Husaren

    on the rear is Franz Schulze, Berlin Neukolln Hertzbergstrasse 18-obviously the guys address

    the picture good though,

    The article gives the history of the regiment, that was active through 1919. It was dissolved in May of that year. THere were "traditional squadrons" that were active for ceremonial purposes in the 1940s, presumably through the end of WWII...

    Husaren-Regiment „von Zieten“ (Brandenburgisches) Nr. 3

    Das Husaren-Regiment „von Zieten“, genannt Zieten-Husaren, war ein Husarenregiment der Preußischen Armee. Zu Beginn des Ersten Weltkrieges war es der 6. Division in Brandenburg unterstellt. Es folgte der Tradition des altpreußischen Leibhusaren-Regiments des Generals von Zieten

    Die Auflösung des Regimentes erfolgte am 30. Mai 1919. Die Nachfolgeregimenter in Rathenow hatten sogenannte Traditionsschwadronen, welche noch bis in die 1940er Jahre die Traditionen weiterführten, indem sie an den Reitergeist Zietens und seiner Husaren erinnerten und an entsprechenden Feier- oder Gedenktagen in den Uniformen der Husaren auftraten.

    Could you zoom in on the awards being worn by the old timers?

    Schulze has written a dedication to "Herrn Captain Fyers" in memory of happy hours in Germany-- suggesting a British or American officer from the use of the English language rank title.
