    Wilhelm Ritter von Poschinger

    Recommended Posts

    Hello,

This is my first posting to your fine forum, so hopefully I am putting this under the correct category.

What can anyone tell me about Wilhelm Ritter von Poschinger? He was a German flier that saw service with FEA1, Jasta 32b, JGr8b, and JGIVb. I need a list of his assignments, as will as some background regarding his award of the MMJO.

Any help will be most appreciated.

    regards,

    Darren

He did not receive the MMJO--> His was a family with a hereditary version of the "Ritter von" title that had nothing to do with the MMJO.

Here is the COMPLETE list of WW1 Max Joseph recipients in the Knight grade:

    born 1893

Leutnant 30.10.12 vorpatentiert when commissioned in Bavarian Heavy Cavalry Regiment 2 in 1914

    Oberleutnant 14.12.17

    charakterisiert Rittmeister aD

BMV4X (never got the Crown to that) and EK2 by April 1916.

I have nothing on his flying units-- you need to ask them at the Aerodrome website for that
