Gordon Craig Posted December 19, 2009 Share Posted December 19, 2009 Gentlemen, I am posting this item here as I believe it is police related and the visitors to this forum are more likely to be able to tell me if they recognize it. It came with a lot of West German miliratia but was unattributed to any country. It appears to be made of molded plastic and is slightly flexible. It is approximately 18" (45cm long) and 1 1/8" (3cm in diamtetre). The only markings on it are what I think is the makers logo on the raised band at oen end. Can any one identify this piece for me? The raised band must be to stop it falling through a belt holder. I know a number of East European countries used a type of plastic moulded truncheon - the old East Germany comes to mind.
