    A shooting society award for best shooting, 1935. The maker is in the town of Magdeburg, so it is likely that the society was in that part of Germany. The ribbon looks like is faded green and white (Saxon colors).

    From what I understand, these were generic medals produced by various manufacturers (the catalogues show hundreds of designs). The shooting clubs etc just selected which design they wished to use for any particular shoot.

    As to the ribbon, all of the Third Reich era shooting ribbons I've seen have been green & white. It's just an unfortunate coincidence that the one shown above happens to have come from the same area that used the green/white colours.
