    CAMPAIGN MEDALS

    Recommended Posts

I am trying to find out any information about a soldier who survived the first world war. The name of the soldier is Thomas Henry Parker who served in the East Lancashire Regiment from 1916-July 1918 when he was discharged due to injury.

The soldiers regiment number was 27952. I have found out this information on Ancestry but the information available is very limited as I am trying to find out where this soldier would have lived when he signed up for the war in 1916. This information doesn't appear to be available.

I imagine that he was given a campaign medal & the silver war badge.

Can anyone suggest where I may be able to find anymore information other than what's available on Ancestry?
